CARDIAC COMPLAINTS
Complaints such as chest pain, heart murmur, palpitations, fainting or blue spells could suggest an underlying heart condition but that may not always the case. A comprehensive assessment with clinical history, detailed clinical examination along with an ECG and echocardiogram can confirm or rule out an underlying heart condition. If it is not related to the heart, parents can be reassured.

PALPITATIONS
Heart palpitations are heart beats that become suddenly noticeable. This could be due to the beat being missed, a stronger sensation of the beat, or fast beats out of proportion to the activity.
